In order to predict the amount of expected work on our team, I requested that a report be built to show all Workflow Templates that have an Assigned Team of the 'Service Centre', so that we can see how many workflows that we're actually involved in (regardless of whether the workflow has ever been used or not).
While in theory our team shoud be consulted for every workflow that we're a part of, it's inevitable that it doesn't occur in all cases. The ability to see how many workflows we're involved in, and what the name of the tasks are that our team can expect, will allow us to review and also identify older workflows that could be decommissioned.
This information would be appreciated either as a report or a standard search function that our Supervisors can run, to stay on top of our reporting needs.
Hey Stuart - Thanks for the reply!
Would that apply to requests/workflows that haven't been used yet? I'd imagine a task search would find any logged requests, but for ones that have been set up and never used, nothing would come up. An example situation would be a 'cleanup' of old, disused or completely unknown tasks that have been assigned to an IPK Workflow Group.
Happy to hear whether this works, or if you've got any other suggestions.
I had this issue a while ago and found the info I was after with a task search. Checking all criteria options (open, closed, active, template etc.) and searching all partitions and setting the assigned group I was after showed the tasks that particular group was assigned. Having the request screen set in the column config made it easy to identify which workflows they were part of as well. Hope this helps.
