At present, when you have filters aplied to a field, if the user then selects the advanced search button on the right of the field, they are sent to an unfiltered generic search pane.
This can make searching via portal fields inconvenient, misleading and/or inappropriate. Eg. Where you have an 'Approver-only' filtered field, an advanced search overrides the filter and the user is able to select any customer.
