Search Fields Settings provides improved searching capabilities for fields in the portal and in nano.

The service catalog search in portal is currently not included as a field that can be configured in Search Fields Settings.  Service actions can be configured, but it does not apply to searching from the Service Catalog.  Can it?

Currently the service catalog search is based on the title of the service action. . 

Australian Electoral Commission want to set aliases so that certain keywords retrieve certain service actions even if it's not in the title.  You can do this for fields configured  in Search Fields Settings by adding a custom field with the keywords, and then adding that custom field to be included in the search.
