KBs - Related Articles Ref Number

Could all KB articles, related articles have their reference number displayed at the bottom of the KB as well as the name of the KB. Therefore when referencing a KB number in the current KB you can just reference the number and the user and click on that one instead of having to click on each individual KB that has been linked to that KB to find the right one. I would make referencing the KB and clicking the right one in the related article section a lot easier and straight forward.

I fully support this suggestion - While KB article titles may change, the number should remain the same.  Being able to refer to the KB number in the body text of an article means that we'll be able to clearly outline which of the linked related articles it refers to, removing any issues of interpretation or context; any change to the first letters of the KB will also potentially move the related article up or down the displayed links, as they're sorted alphabetically.

With many objects, URLs and related articles linked, it can get confusing or frustrating to a reader if the reference isn't clearly made (which it can be with the unique KB number).

An example of the current state is:

KB Article Body:  "If you need to gain access to this system, refer to K1215"

Related KB Link: "How to apply for access to systems" [No number is displayed]

    OR

KB Article Body:  "If you need to configure X files, see the related article for X files"

Related KB Link:  "System K - Modify files"

    Desired State:

KB Article Body:  "If you need to gain access to this sytem, refer to K1215"

Related KB Link:  "K1215 - Gain access to X System"
