Related Article Reference Searching / Linking

Currently all expired articles in the Knowledge Bank are hidden from standard searches by default, however can still be accessed via the 'Quick Search' at the top right.  Expired articles are also visible in existing KBs as Related Links (the links are not removed when the article is expired).

Given tha active articles still show Related Articles that are expired, a way for us to manually see or search for all references made to a particular article would be handy, otherwise we have active articles referring and giving ability to open expired information with no warning to the reader.

Example:

  1. K2835 is active and marked as requiring review, and had a Related Article of K7925.
  2. K7925 was expired as information was not current, out of date or otherwise needed to be removed
  3. Readers were still able to access K2835, but the link to K7925 still displayed, alowing the article to be opened and read with no indication to the reader that the article was expired or not to be used.
    • As a workaround, we enter red text at the top of an expired article.

Any way to search for references to an article would allow us to manually clean up any existing links.
