If you have a list of key KBs you wish to keep but can't remember the KB number, it would be good to have a facility to store 'Team KB favourites' or possibly your own for quick access. Similar feature to internet favourites.
I had another customer request this feature - but from the Self Service Portal. And they would like to see automatic notification whenever a favorite article has been updated.
The Favourites Menu tab allows you to manage the Explorer Menu only to reduce the number of menu items you see in the menu. I think the idea of Favourites or Bookmarks for Knowledgebase Articles or commonly used Service Catalog items for example is a good one.

Furthermore, I noticed there is a Favourite bar on the Reporting screen, Call logging screen, this maybe a way to proceed with this suggestion?
