I would like to concentrate effort on improving customer portal and Nano screens and gradually move people away from vFire core to reduce the effort of maintaining screens, and giving people a simple intuitive interface within the browser.
The 3 interfaces have different strengths and weaknesses, and one each may need to be used for different tasks (e.g. updating/viewing a KB article is more full-featured in Nano, updating a contract can only be done in vFire core, any management-facing pages must use costomer portal due to the intuitive forms interface). Unfortunately switching between Nano and other interfaces to perform a different task logs the other system out, even though it is running on the same client with the same user.
Is there any way to allow people already have a vFire core session running with that user on that IP to not terminate the other session? It seems like the person would already need to be licensed for the vFire core which would be more expensive than a Nano only license, so under-licensing shouldn't be a problem?
This has now been reviewed by the Product Management Team and will monitor the number of votes this suggestion gets with other customers.
