When logging a new call we need the ability to add the email address into the person search. For example if I go to log a new call for Adrian Smiith search results bring back 4 of them. the only way I can find which is the correct one is by selected one and then confirming the email address. If its wrong we have to do a search again, in the column view of the people search email address isnt an opttion we can add in. How can we get this field added into the view. This feature was delivered in v10.
FEB2019 - i raised a request with Alemba about when this will be available. they have responded to say 'This will be possible in vFire v10. All QD fields will become 'Search Fields' and have the configuration options that are currently available for search fields in the self service portal.'
We have just installed VFire 9.11 and this has not been resolved
QD fields in Core will be modified to be similar to those used in Self Service Portal (hopefully in v9.9 (but may be v9.10+ depending on schedules). You will be able to configure the columns returned.

I think in your case you can make a full customer search (attaching screenshot 1).
Besides, it is possible to make a small system customization to add an email address as quick search option as well (attaching screenshot 2). I may agree that this option for a quick search by email address could be added by the product developers by default.
