There is no way to suspend a task. They know there is a delay task but they want to be able to suspend a task in ad-hoc situations. This would be useful in VSM and vFire
Suspending individual Tasks is often better than suspending the whole Request. We find that time critical Tasks are disappearing and thus going unactioned when another analyst suspends their own 'task' (i.e. the whole Request) and then unexpectedly reappearing too late when the Request is unsuspended.
You may still suspend a Request what makes more sense to handle request implementation SLA counters. But I may agree that possibility to suspend a Request from Task screen would be very useful improvement.
