We have a unique condition applied to the email field of the customer record to prevent officers creating more than one customer record for the same customer. However, we have identified today that if a space is left at the end of the email address it allows the duplicate to be created and it still sends an email to the customer, so no-one identifies any issues.

Currently there is no way to disable the inclusion of a space in any fields.
