Currently, other than removing the buttons altogether which is not suitable (we need some people to be able to close/reopen requests) there is no way to restrict users from reopening requests. This is leading to people closing the request directly rather than through the workflow. We can restrict the closing of calls via the hide option on the button but that isn't ideal and isn't available on the reopen button at all. The best solution would be to allow these permissions to be configured via the security profiles.
Note: You can currently restrict reopen permissions on calls but not closure (other than by hiding the button) so would be good if both options were available for both calls and requests.
Yes please! I want analysts to be able to action requests so they can suspend but not have the ability to reopen requests which then usually just get left. Being able to stop them from closing the request would also be a huge benefit.
Second this, the ability to restrict the reopening of requests would be good as in theory you should never be manually closing a request as its controlled by the tasks.
