Customisable portal screen

I am aware we are on an older version of the product available (9.6) but I think it would be beneficial to have the capability to update portal request screens after submission. e.g. The review screen after submission - includes Template, priority, type, risk, status, forwarded to and SLA Target however some of these we would not want our end users seeing. (Portal 1 Image)

Also within Review Past/Current Requests it would be helpful to have a method of hiding the Add Note and Add Attachment buttons as this information is fed into the history which may not be taken into account when a decision is made so the option to hide these would be helpful. (Portal 2 Image)

    Hi Paula

The buttons are not able to be hidden at the moment. We will consider this for inclusion in a future release.

    Kind Regards

    Dave

     Hi Dave,

Thanks for confirming – are these buttons able to be hidden within the newer builds?

     Thanks

    Hi Paula

I have just checked and Chris is correct in that you cannot remove those buttons, only relabel them on that screen, some buttons cannot be removed in Designer and would need to be manually hidden in the HTML via a minor customization:

The LiteRequestDetailsOut Screen that you have also indicated was not included in the v9.7 functionality but should be included in the v9.12 Release due out later this year.

    Thanks

     Hi Dave,

That’s great if both of these screens can be updated, we will look at getting our system upgraded to incorporate this.

I was happy to wait as long as it was an available feature moving forward however I was advised by your colleague Chris Vidot of the

    following:

“You are very welcome. I have tested this in 9.11.1 and this is the same. The screen are non designer screens and cannot be edited. You

can submit this as a feature suggestion on the portal if this is something that would be beneficial. I am closing this ticket but if you need anything further please let me know“

     Thanks

    Hi Paula

I think the Change Labels in Portal feature we added in v9.7 would help, all Portal Screens where added into the vFire Core Designer so you can change the Text Label, Add a Tooltip to a Field or apply the Hidden property to not display certain fields and buttons. Please check out https://alemba.help/help/content/topics/release%20notes/rn%209.7/change%20labels.htm#top

    Thanks
