Set Criteria to automate additional actions if the approval has not be approved or rejected within certain number of days, this would then close off requests that have not been approved or rejected and the analyst would not need to chase up these approvals manually. It would help tidy up database and provide better stats of open/waiting calls.
Hi Jill, we do that sometimes by activating a delay task at the same time as the approval, and using an activation task to close the approval when the delay completes (and a second activation task to close the delay task if the approval is completed first). You can then add a 'get approval manually' task after the activation if you want to.
