Can you copy call details from the parent call to the child request

Can you copy call details from the parent call to the child request (like customer, description, CI etc) - similar to how the clone call functionality works? "Create request" button on the call screen

    When a call is cloned to a Request the fields are cloned where there is an appropriate match available.

    Do you have a demo of this?  I have tried to do this and no data is copied across.  Does this have to be done in clone (of which there are only options to clone to call type) or can this be done in linking too?
