Ability for analysts to re-open a chat session that has been closed due to the lack of connectivity

We have a number of users on mobile devices. When they move from a wired to wireless connection, or between wireless points, connectivity is lost and the Chat session closes. Analysts can see that they have instigated the Chat session, but can't re-establish, so they have to call, email the customer instead. Would be great if there was a way for analysts to re-open these dead sessions from vFire core if this is a possibility.
