There is a new Type Tier Control in ASM 10.3 that improves the usability of navigating up and don the type tier levels. Search by text and a display of the number of items at the immediate sub level is also provided.
Related Feature Suggestions
It would be better if it standardized on the free text search selection similar in the portal and nano screens. Anything where you need to drill down in the Core control is painful if you don't get it right, and then going back up a level is just as annoying.
