On a frequent basis, the knowledge team receives a change that affect multiple articles and is effective at a given date in the future. Currently when an article is updated, it cycled offline while in draft, and then placed back online when the change is complete.  The product update requested is to provide a capability of versioning KB’s so a future version can be in edit while the prior version remains available online.  Since deep linking and other external references utilize the KB number in URL form within documents and problem resolution roadmaps, it is imperative that the KB number remains the same from version to version.  In addition to versioning a KB, the ability to select a future date/time for changeover from one version of a KB to another is also needed.
