Allow officers to log/create new calls from templates in Core. This would be extremely useful for our IT staff at the Service Desk and Operation Centers, where like calls are frequently created. Having the ability to create from template would save the time of filling out information that could be pre-populated using a template, include correct assignment group.
This feature would be security-controlled at the IPK Management level. vFire admins could grant permissions to create calls from templates as well as control which templates they can create from. Officers with this permission would see an either an additional option under each call type where templates are created, or it could be implemented to function once the call is opened, along the left-hand navigation... an option such as create from template, or template.
Templates are an extremely useful feature, but it seems like a massive oversight that this ability wouldn't exist already within the product.
