It would be great if an item (service action) that goes EOL or 'currently unavailable' could be updated and left on the portal but prohibited from ordering rather then having to remove it from the portal.
Removing the item completely tends to force customers to email or call us saying where has xx item gone! Whereas if we could update the title (ref) and description(which I know we can do so) but grey out the order button that would be much better
Perhaps we could have some kind of stock system which would allow an item to be ordered a set amount of times before being set to "Out of Stock" when it reaches 0, and then the button could be greyed out.
Or maybe change the add to cart button to "Out of Stock - Email me when available" which would then log a call, but not actually order the item.
