Minimise duplicate information in call history resulting from emails

Call history via email Hi Team, At the moment all emails are being added to the call history and there are a lot of duplicate information. What options do we have to minimize duplicate information in the call? I know that using Portal or vFire would help, but I would like to know what options we have with updates via emails.
