When a user sends an email attachment (in msg format ) into vFire, it’s converted into a htm file automatically .
The problem with this is we regularly receive emails that need to be in a msg format so we can open them up and check the internet headers within that email. If the file is converted to an htm file then headers are removed in the process. We would like the retain the attachment in its original format.
Often email coming have other emails attached (nested), all with their own file attachments. It is hard to tell which files were attached to which email.
This is exactly what I'm looking for - our HR internal support team uses vFire to manage their incoming tickets and calls, and one of the biggest issues with using the incoming mail service for automatic job logging is that when they assign a ticket out to a resolver group, that resolver group wants the .msg to open and respond to directly.
